Workplace learning has often provided me with pleasant surprises. When the learning experience has been planned well, it can be extremely impactful. For example, many customer-facing workers have shared their stories of how workplace learning has improved both their work performance and confidence when handling customers.

After fifteen years of experience as an Adult Educator in the retail, healthcare and training industries, such stories serve to reaffirm my belief in my work. My role is varied; I develop curriculum and conduct training, both in classrooms and directly in the workplace. I enjoy meeting people and creating meaningful opportunities to enable learning.

Being creative, open-minded, and approachable, as well as having an eye for detail, have all helped me to connect with people and offer appropriate learning solutions to close learning gaps. My qualifications in Master of Training and Development, Bachelor of Science in Management, Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education and Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment have been invaluable in my journey so far.
